ABQ Mini Maker Faire 2014

Thank you for the tremendous turnout at  ABQ MMF 2014.  We had no idea what to expect and were pleasantly overwhelmed by everyone’s interest and support.

Displayed are the Direct Wheelchair to Shopping Cart Attachment (DWSCA), simple, inexpensive replacement for the Jazzy Select Elite electric wheelchair controller for the Jazzy Select Elite electrick wheenchair, our manual to power chair conversion, our "concept* all terrain electric wheelchair and simple, inexpensive reflector/lighting systems for wheeled devices.

We brought a few of our projects to the Albuquerque Mini Maker Faire hoping to inspire others to tinker with and customize their own wheeled mobility device.  Instead, we were inspired by all your questions and suggestions!  For example, pets keep many of us sane and safe.  But we had not thought about devices for disabled pets nor how to incorporate service pets into Halloween costumes!  The diversity of suggestions, literally, blew us away and humbled us!

Thank you, THANK you, THANK YOU!

-to the organizers, volunteers from within and outside of Albuquerque, members of Quelab, fellow makers and attendees!
